Office Gets Modern Metal Addition!

Project: Stainless Steel Wall Panel System on an office addition in downtown Detroit.

Complicating this undertaking were the several curves or sweeps requiring radius or rolled flat seam panels along with the fins of "bumped out" protections detailed by architect Kessler & Associates. This created a horizontal accent band that also carried through the multiple curved sections. Nor did the architect want to see exposed flashing trim around the window system. All windows received interior jamb flashing soldered water-tight, flashed to the wall panel system.

The new flat seam wall panels consist of more than 14,000 square feet of Type 304 2D 24 gauge Stainless Steel, custom fabricated and left unpainted.
